Can Feeling Of Uneasiness Be Symptoms Of Underactive Thyroid?

Hi, I have not been feeling well for roughly 18 years and I just got on with it until the last couple of years when I decided to go to my doctors with many symptoms pointing at an underactive thyroid. Both my maternal and paternal grandmothers suffered from this and I decided to go the doctors. I had blood tests....they came back normal....me still not feeling normal questioned this and get told it s all in my head and then got prescribed tablets for ibs!!! I hadn t been diagnosed with ibs!!! Just got told I m stressed. Really don t know what to do as I feel my quality of life isn t the best and I am only 35! Thanks, Liz
