Can eye transplant be done with one bruised eye and other scarred?

Hello my name is kasey. My 71 year old grandfather is blind. His left eye is said to be "bruised" and he cant see anything out of it. Not even shadows. His right eye has scare tissue that other doctors have tried to remove but couldn't. He can see shadows with his right eye. I was curious if he could get an eye transplant for his condition at his age, and would it be affective? He has been blind for 10+ years. Thank You.

what he need is a pl pr test for both eye. it is perception and projection oflight .eye transplant is only a cornea trans plant diabetes is a contraindication. doner is to be arranged. suitability is to be examined by corneal doctor. if every thing is ok then it can be tried. you should be mentally ready for failure.
