Can Extra Dose Of Glipizide 5 Mg If Blood Sugar Rises?

I have type 2 diabetes and I ve taken my meds (glipizide 5 mg) like I m suppose to. One full tablet in the morning 30 min before breakfast and half tablet 30 min before dinner. However I ate too much cabs and junk and my bs is 223. Can I take another half tablet or just wait till morning?

blood sugar should be normal even if you take high carbs and junk. i recommend you to repeat blood sugar 2 hours after high carbs and junk.
