Can Exercise Cause Swelling In Pubic Area?

i just started exercising with trainer. I am fit but have not worked out in over a year. Trainer had me do lower abdominal exercise Friday. Friday late afternoon I noticed my pubic area very swollen. It looked like a water balloon. I also noticed I had to urinate often with not a bunch of urine coming out. I have been taking advil. Not sure if this is from exercise or something else.

Hello & Welcome to HCM,

I had gone through the case and found that some time due to exercise after a long time cause pain.

But pain with swelling in lower abdomen is due to might be due some muscle spasm.

Apply hot water bag and take sufficient quantity of liquid to subside the swelling.

If not decrease the swelling then go for urine test with lower abdomen exercise for getting the correct diagnosis and take treatment.

Hope my answer will be effective for you.

Thanks,
