Hi,
Noted the history about a 31 year old male having multiple painful
lymph nodes in groin, armpits, consulted Family Physician,
Urologist and
General Surgeon, 2 CT scans and blood works but no answer, wants to know whether drinking too much coffee can cause this.
Surely excessive coffee consumption does not cause enlargement of lymph nodes.
All the investigations done do not point to the diagnosis and the most important diagnosis is done by the following:
FNAC that is fine needle aspiration cytology.
The best thing is excision
biopsy of the whole lymph node as only this can tell us the most definitive diagnosis.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult your General Surgeon.
Request him for biopsy and histopathology of the lymph nodes.
Further management as per the reports.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General and ENT Surgeon
