Hi,

Eritel contains telmisartan which is an angiotensin II receptor blockers. They are efficient in reducing the blood pressure. I suggest you to continue the drug and monitor your blood pressure. Raised blood pressure even after telmisartan, may indicate the requirement of additional drugs to reduce the blood pressure for the time being after which single drug can be continued. Any fluid retention and edema, kidney dysfunction should also be ruled out.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
