Can Erectile Dysfunction Be Caused By Needle Biopsy Performed On Prostate?

Hi, about a year and a half ago I had a needle biopsy done on my prostate at which time when they took one of the biopsys, I had a sharp excruciationg pain shood town the shaft of my penus to the head. Now I have erectile dysfunction. I don't have the sensation that I had before. could there be irreversable nerve damage?

The answer to your question is 'quite unlikely'. Needle biopsy done for prostate study is unlikely to cause any nerve damage.

I would like to know your age, are you on any medication, have you Diabetes mallitus, how long back you had the needle biopsy and do you have this problem right from the day of biopsy or after sometime. These information would add more details for your problem and I can guide you better.
