Can Emergency Pills Be Taken Even Without Ejaculating The Sperm?

ma am i and my gf had sex using condom, but the condom break inside her vagina and till then i haven t ejaculated. bt we are not sure about pre-ejaculation of mine... so is it safe to take emergency pills within 72 hrs even if sperm didn t get inside vagina???? it s a doubt whether she can get pregnant or not?

Hello dear
I understand your concern
There is always some chance of pregnancy is condom breakage.
Pre ejaculation may contain some sperm concentration and that cause pregnancy.
So safe side you can take the Emergency contraception pill as early as possible with in 72 hour of sex.
There may be chance of failure about 5 percent with the emergency pill if taken with in 24 hour of sex.
But pill can cause delayed period by 7-8 days.
So do not worry if period will delay with negative pregnancy test.
