Hi,

Drinking alcohol cannot cause hydrocephalus or vWD. Avoid alcohol in hydrocephalus as it can can worsen head aches. Routinely abused drugs do not cause hydrocephalus. Probably a head injury or infection could be the cause leading on to CSF accumulation and thereby hydrocephalus.
Acquired vWD is less understood but assumed be due to autoimmune antibodies.
Alcohol or drug abuse, until now has not been implicated in either of these conditions.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further doubts, I am happy to help
