Can Dizziness And Nausea Cause Swollen Feet And Aching Feet?

During the night when I got up I noticed my balance was off and I was light headed. When I woke this morning it was worse. If I tipped forward I also became nauseous. I made it to the sofa where I threw up salvia. I never throw up so this is really weird. My left foot has been hurting for a few month and is swollen today even though I have it elevated. I do have circulation issues and have put on my compression sock to help with this. I don t know if this has anything to do with the balance and light headed feelings?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response

Hi,

I have read your query.
. The dizziness could be due to low blood pressure or inner ear problem.

I suggest you to get his blood pressure checked once along with the pulse rate and other vitals.

It can be attributed to low water or food intake causing water and electrolyte imbalance, and subsequently the dizzy feeling.

Please give him fresh fruit juices to drink to replenish the salts and water.

He should be fine soon.

Take care!
