Hello! I am writing to ask about numbness I ve been experiencing in my mouth and throat. I recently (8 days ago) had to abruptly stop taking 20mg a day of laxapro as well as 1mg a day of klonopin - doctor s orders - because of a chance of being pregnant. I read up on discontinuation symptoms and I have been experiencing electric shock sensations through my entire body since stopping, but now this numb feeling has come on over the last couple days and I am beginning to get concerned. Just wondering if there is anything I need to worry about or could this also be a symptom of discontinuing the medication. I tried to call my doctor s office to ask a nurse and haven t gotten a call back yet. Asking here because I m getting pretty anxious waiting.
