Hello, my girlfriend is having diarreha and she vomitted few times yesterday evening after consuming some seafood in Thailand in restaurant. We have bought antibiotic called Cifran 500,but we couldnt notice anything about doseage. I mean for how many days should she take it ? We only know that she should take 2 tabs per day every 12 h...

More than antibiotics,the fluid replacement is important. Encourage her to drink good amount of liquids.Antibiotics likeCifran 500 is ciprofloxacin 500 mg can help treat the gut infection (I.e diarrhea and vomiting) and she should take it for 7 days twice a day.Hope this answers your query.Further queries are welcome.Take care.
