I have a friend who had her thyroid removed in 8/2010 as it was cancerous. In Dec 2010 she had minuscus surgery to repair a rip in knee/patella.. yet full knee surgery. That was unsuccessful for she is having more problems with the knee now. Walking is extremely difficult for her, and back pain as well. She is convinced(altho I am trying to steer her away from that for now) that because she has monsterous dark bruises on many body parts that she has diabetes. How can I help her?
I AM NOT WORKING AND UNABLE TO PAY nor can she... WHAT specialist should she seek
diabetes will not cause bruises .You need to see a dermatologist ! if they are actually bruises labs would be required to assess the cause of spontaneous bruising .
