Can Diabetes Be Related To Depression And Flu?

I have diabetic from i was 7 now im 52 my diabetic is not good and the DR can not get me stable lised and i suffer very bad with deperision and im tired all the time itake the flu every 2 weeks and it puts me of my feet and i end up in bed for nearly a week i am really feed up with it sometimes i wish i was not hear i use insulit fouf times a day i am fed up with it i no there is ones worse of than me but i kent help the way i feel i hope you can help me

I understand what you are going through. Flu is known to precipitate depression and depression can upset your blood sugar very much.
It is important that you get help immediately to make things better. Call a friend or relative now and you should see a doctor who understands your problems.
As you have Type 1 diabetes, insulin has to be taken but there are newer forms of insulin coming which would make it easier for you.
So keep up your spirits and I wish you a fast recovery.
