Can Dermovate Be Used Before Sun Exposure For Vitiligo?

my daughter is 6 years old and she was diagnosed with vitiligo , white patches are on her neck, around eyes, on elbows and knees, back and as the weather is great and she spend lots of time outside on her hands as well. Most affected area is on hands. It looks like every day is more and more. Before we went to dermatologist every day we used sun cream with 50 factor on her body. Her dermatologist prescribed Protopic ointment 0.1% for 3 months and Dermovate cream for 3 weeks? Can I use Dermovate in a morning with possibly sun exposure and the Protopic in the evening? Is that not too long treatment for 6 years old girl?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the vitiligo then cure for this disease is almost nil some newer technics and drugs are being used by dermatologist with less promising results, so question of how long the treatment needs be given is out of the way hope this information helps.
