Can Deficiency Of Vitamin B12 Causes Sinus Infection?

Hi, I have b12 deficency and suffer from chronic sinus .Have had sinus for a month , symptoms have worsened to sore throat, tight chest, nausea and general unwellness. do i need antibiotics? can b12 deficency make you prone to developing sinus infections?

Thanks for your query.
There is no proven role of B12 causing sinusitis.
Sinusitis is there for a long time and causing sore throat, tight chest, nausea and general un-wellness.
I would advise you the following:
First of all get an opinion of an ENT Surgeon,
Get a throat swab tested.
A course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and supportive medicines as may be necessary.
Get CT scan of the sinuses to prove or rule out the actual position of the sinuses.
