Can Cyst In Abdomen Be Causing Severe Pain? What Is The Meaning Of Angiomyolipoma?

I have had pain in my upper adbomen for several weeks, I had an ultra sound today it states. "A 12mm non-shadowing hyperchoic focus is noted in the midpole renal cortex laterally. This may represent a small angiomyolipoma. There is also a small 10 mm cyst nearby."

Is this causing the pain? How do I get relief from the pain?

Thank you,
Heather Girard

hi;
this could be a possibility of pain due to this. I suggest you to see a surgeon or a gastroenterolgist to look into other causes of pain.
