Welcome to HCM
Fever and pain at local site is usual after traditional DPT vaccine and analgesic or antipyretic are given for relief of pain and fever. The fever and pain usually lasted for about 2 days and medications are given at every 6 hour. You mentioned two drugs and we usually use the first one not the second one according to the body weight.
Thanking you.
