Can cortisone injection be taken after having metatarsal bursa removed?
Hello, Do you know of the success rate for having a metatarsal bursa removed? I have one between my 3rd and 4th toes on my left foot. I ve had an ultrasound on it, and the radiologist recommended having a cortisone injection to help treat it. However, I have a fear of injections and have also heard that cortisone s aren t always a permanent solution which is why I have made an appointment to see a foot surgeon. Thank you.
