Can Corrective Laser Surgery Causes Regular Pain In Eye ?
Hi---I have had corrective lazer surgery about 5 years ago and for the past 6 months I have pain in my right eye which is constant. I am 63 years old and now wear reading glasses only. Could the pain be related to the surgery and what can I do to treat it.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having pain in the eye and you have underwent a corrective laser surgery most probably lasik. Laser surgeries can cause dry eye and dry eyes can cause regular and constant pain. The treatment of the condition is by use of artificial tears eye drops. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
