Can Colitis And Diverticulitis Be Due To Insufflated Air In The Colon?

I ve had two cat scans. One doctor said it was colitis, the other diverticulitis. I had a colonoscopy and because the pain started right after, I think I have a tear cause by the air pushed through my colon. How do it get my doctor to believe me and should I now see a specialist?

Hello,

I really appreciate your concern, you have not mentioned the exact symptoms that you have and whatever you have stated here does not indicates any illness, but it seems to be the functional kind of disease, so try to come out of stress, and be positive.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
