Can Chronic Sinusitis Cause Greying Of Eardrums?

I believe i have chronic sinusitis just got off antibotics and its back again with the pain in and around my eyes. I have a doctors appointment on tuesday for a follow up because my eardrums were grey last time. What would cause them to be grey and could my sinus problems be linked to my eardrum problem.

in my opinion sinusitis can lead to ear problem as nose and ear are connected via eustachian tube. graying of tympanic membrane is due to chronic infection or tympanosclerosis. but if don't have any hearing problem or any other symptoms, you should not worry. you should get proper treatment on sinusitis part.
