Can Chest Pain Indicate Pneumonia Infection?

in november i was rushed to hospital.thought i was having a heart attack.turned out to be a panic attack.i have now learned to control them.within the last couple of weeks ive been experiencing some chest discomfort that is hard to explain.its not what i would call chest pain though.im a 33 year old male smoker who is very scared again.could it be pnemonia or an infection of some sort?

Thank you for your question on HCM. Yes you are right ig can be pneumonia. Since you are smoker I am advising you to go for atleast ecg to rule out cardiac cause. And as you are smoker you tend to aquire chest infection very easily. So you should get done chest x ray to rule ot pneumonia, tb or pleurisy. And irrespective of x ray finding please quit smoking as soon as possible.
