Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been diagnosed with celiac disease with a blood test. I have frequent bouts of diarrhea, this most recent one has been going on for two months. This morning I passed yellowish runny stool like usual but today there were red, wide pieces of something mixed in, almost looked like skin. Should I be worried?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the given symptoms are not exactly correlated with the celiac disease even though it is being diagnosed but it sees to be protozoa infection and condition can be managed with Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day for five days still it is better to take some care in diet as long as the celiac disease are concern and that might have been explained by your physician hope this information helps.
