My quadriceps are not symmetrical. I do lift weights and have been having pain in my left hip flexor. I then noticed in my left leg that my quad doesnt continue all the way up to my joint it abruptly stops. On the other side, my right leg is totally normal has no pain and no abrupt stop, the muscle continues to my hip joint. What is wrong with my left leg?

Hi, my 13yr old runs track and has been complaining of pain in his left quadricep. It s significantly larger than the right one. Is this something that I should take him to his primary doctor for? Or would it be feasible to place ice on it, wrap it up and elevate his leg to see what happens from there?
I have a history of trauma to the knee. A physician diagnosed me as having sprained my medial colateral ligament and a 1st degree medial meniscus tear. The physical therapist disagreed and said it was a only a strain of the vastus medialis. So i was treated for that. I was fine until returning to biking left my knee sore. Now I'm experiencing slight pain. My knee becomes extremely stiff after having a shower. What is going on?
Twice I was doing squats and it caused a huge swelling of the knee; mainly at the lower vastus lateralis. I have gout fairly often and believed this was the cause. The knee could not be bent at all; very little pain, just swollen. After about 3 weeks, I fully recovered both times. Now, I was jumping on a trampoline and the swelling has remained for 6 months. Sometimes less, sometimes more, but I can at least walk on it. Any ideas?

Hi... i am a 61 yo female with no serious medical problems. Lately i've been having, every other day or so, cramps of foot and lower legs. Just now i had a horrible "cramp" in what i think is the vastus medialis of my right upper leg. Is there something i'm missing in my diet to stop the cramps??
Hello. I'm a 34 year old male and I just discovered a fairly small movable lump just above my right knee. It is painless and can only be felt if my leg is extended and relaxed. For the last few months I have also been experiencing some hip pain...
When I try to completely bend my knee I seem to not be able to. After bending about 90% it almost feels like there's no more room for my leg to bend but there is. I also feel it when fully extended with my legs crossed. I have no problem walking...
