Can Cardiac Enzyme Levels Be Controlled Due To Timely Intervention?

I recently suffered an acute coronary syndrome. I am medically qualified, realised the nature of my symptoms and was in the ER within 10 minutes of the onset of pain. ECG revealed ST elevation V1 and V2.Received sublingual nitrate with resolution of pain within 3 to 5 minutes. Angiogram within 40 mins of event.Tight stenosis of proximal LAD and stenosis of origin of Diagonal. Balloon angioplasy of diagonal and Stent of LAD.Troponin-T only mild elevation.
Now have conflict with Dread Disease claim. Insurance company paid only minimal claim as cardiac enzymes did not reach what they regard as "statistically significant." I maintain this was due to rapid intevention and therefore significant enzyme rise was averted.

HI,welcome to HCM,
Cardiac enzymes particularly troponin leak from heart muscles during injury like heart attack or acute coronary syndromes.their level in blood in directly proportional to the amount of the heart muscle damaged.their rise in the blood can be prevented by early cardiac treatment intervention through angioplasty and stenting.since you received sublingual nitrate and ballon angioplasty in time, your levels of trop t did not rise to significant levels.
thank you
