Can Bronchitis Lead To Strep Throat?
Can bronchitis turn into strep throat? I have had bronchitis for a week and have been taking medication for it. Over the weekend it got worse and I am now on a Z-pack. However, my thoat is so swollen it is hard to swallow, I can hardly stay awake and I have no appetite. I am concerned this thing is turning into something else worse.

You would have got a new streptococcal infection. Do you have fever? Cough? What is your age? Better get a throat swab culture and get appropriate treatment if it comes out positive for streptococcal infection.
