Hi...

Can understand your concern..

As per your query you have a soft painless swelling above your left collar bone, it may be due to enlarged cervical lymph node or a sebaceous cyst..

It is not due to broken wisdom tooth as wisdom tooth infection does not cause infection in the lymph nodes in neck region.

It may be due to the any direct infection in the lymph nodes or due to infected lymph draining in the channels passing through these group of lymph nodes..

This can lead to infection enlargement of lymph nodes..

If the enlargement is acute in nature i..e of short duration of occurrence say about 10 to 15 days then it may resolve by itself but if it is of chronic nature i.e. of long duration of occurrence you should visit a general doctor who can evaluate your physical conditions and can confirm the reason behind the swelling by taking a biopsy or FNAC (fine needle aspiration cytology)..

Your furthur treatment will depend on your pathological reports if needed..

Hope for a sooner cure..

Thanks and regards..
