Can Boiled Egg Yolk With Milk Cause Loose Motions For A 5 Month Baby ?
my baby is 5 month old. yesterday I had given him boiled egg yolk , less then half with milk. today he is having loose motions. I make him sleep, once he gets up he is having motion.. am breast feeding him and also started giving little outside food as suggested by my doctor... please help me...

Baby should be weaned very gradually.A breast fed baby at the age of 6 months should be stsrted with clear liquids and wait for 5-6 days to start another liquid or semisolid food item.when accustomed to previous ,can switch over to next thing while continuing previous food also.I feel boiled egg was a little hurried decision. give ORS and more fluid to keep well hydrated for a couple of days.( see urine is passed adequately).
