Can Bleach Cause Irritation In Eye?

i was bleaching my hair last night, and a strand with bleach on got into my eye, it stung for about 2 seconds then stopped. i washed my eye out for about 5 minutes after then googled the severity of it. after i rinsed by eye in intervals (as its uncomfortable) for a total of about 25 minutes. after that my eye was a bit irritated, not sure if this is from rinsing or from the bleach? now it feels like the vision in that eye is very very very slightly blurry- not sure if this is me being paranoid or if it actually is. my eye doesn't hurt.

Hello
It seems from the history that bleaching agent fell into your eye. The bleaching agent contains chemicals and it will cause irritation and eye damage.
The first thing to be done is to wash the eyes as you have done and later depending on the damage requires treatment.
Since the vision in the affected eye as you have mentioned is blurry you need to consult your doctor for examination and treatment.
Thank you
