Can Atenolol Cause Dizziness And Fainting With Smoking?
I often get dizzy. I understand that most of those times it seems to be brought on by coughing, which is often followed by seizure-like physical movment and/or fainting. Sometimes however, the dizziness happiness by simply turning. I take Attenenol for blood pressure (heart patient). I have seen 2 neurologists, both of which refuse to consider any real testing, because I smoke.
Yes dizziness can happen more when nicotine or smoking is used with bp medication or with atenolol, you may ask physisian to change it , [record your bp also for few days as dose modification may be needed , do art of living sahaj samadhi course , it will help to overcome smoking and heart issues as seen in few patients with similar history and continue medication.
Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar
