Can Antihistamines And Decongestants Be Taken Together?
i am a 63 year old male with severe allergies, trees,pollon dust etc. i am also being treated for high blood preesure, i take antihistamines for my allergies as wel as a decongestant, How dangerous is this combo for my heart. family history of heart failure

I understand your concern regarding the combination of drugs and their effects. Yes, decongestants are little dangerous when taken for a long time and at higher doses especially in elderly. This combination can be used for a short time but not advisable long term.
