Can Antibiotics Cause Dizziness With Pins And Needles In Forehead?
Hi, I have been diagnosed with sinusitis in my left hand forehead. I ve been having dizzy spells for months now. Currently I am on my 2nd course of amoxycillan. I am now suffering a pins and needles sensation in my forehead which occasionally moves to my left hand top of my head. Still suffering dizzy attacks and nausea.
These symptoms could be due to the Sinusitis it self ! perhaps Amoxy may not be the best antibiotic for you, as u have already taken it and there has been no improvement. Under these conditions u need to meet up with a ENT splt to consider drainage of the sinuse. Indeed, add a decongestant( nasal drops lile Otrivin) to the antibiotic, simple steam inhalation would also be helpful. Thus the problem is not due to Amoxy but because of NO response to Amoxy !
