Hi,

Thanks for posting in HCM.

I have read your description and understand your concern.

As per the guidelines, persons who are not previously vaccinated need to do the following:
1. Wound cleansing using virucidal agent (e.g., povidine-iodine solution)
2. Human diploid cell vaccine (HDCV) or purified chick embryo cell vaccine (PCECV) 1.0 mL, intramuscularly in deltoid region, 1 each on days 0,3, 7, 14 and 28.
3. Human rabies immune globulin (HRIG) - 20 IU/kg body weight, injected either into the wound, or into the muscle in the upper leg.

For persons who are previously vaccinated, the following things needs to be followed:
1. Wound cleansing using virucidal agent (e.g., povidine-iodine solution)
2. HDCV or PCECV 1.0 mL, Intramuscularly in deltoid region, 1 each on days 0 and 3.

What seems to be having done your case should be fine and nothing to worry about. There is no harm in taking the vaccines frequently. Severe reactions are extremely rare with intake of these injections.

Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
