can anterior or low lying placenta cause effects of an incompetent cervix? and as pregancy continues and the placenta moves the cervix returns to normality - can this happen? and finally does bed rest help both these conditions? Thanking you in advance for your help.

Placenta can migrate as pregnancy progress.Ultrasound can help confirming.But incompetent cervix may persist and needs regular follow up.Bed rest is definitely helpful.Follow up more frequently than normal cases is advised.Regards
