Can Angioplasty Cause Sinus Headaches?

I had angioplasty and a stent placed 4 days ago. I am 57 and in generally good health otherwise, but had a headache on the first day after and now the 3 rd day after. I started taking plavix, 325 mg aspirin, and Lipitor after surgery. Headaches are like sinus headaches. Any advice?

Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern.

It seems that you have a headache which occurs due to a post-op complication. You can try a few things which will help you. These are add-on therapies and not the same as treatment:
Inhale steam mixed with Eucalyptus oil to clear the nasal passages
Take a Paracetamol 500 when you feel you are about to get a headache
Drink lots of water
Sleep well and get at least 8 hours of sleep a day
Eat meals at regular times

Follow up after 5 days. All the best.
