Can Anal Fissure Be Cured With Medications?
Hi Doctor.. Im kishore 27yrs old. Im suffering from anal fissure. Doctor suggested me to have Looz syrup daily 10ml bfore going to bed. How it helps in curing my pain and disease. Please tell me that is my disease curable with medicine or needs a surgery..? Im suffering from this from past 5 days..

Hello.The syrup that you take is a laxative to improve depositions and prevent worsening of anal fissure .Besides of laxative,the use of creams with lidocaine
and centella asiatica extract are effective in treating anal fissure. If these drugs do not improve your fissure,surgery is necessary but is possible conservative surgery
