Can An Online Doctor Read Ultrasound Of The Uterus?

hi my sister recently had an ultrasound and it shows urinary bladder is distended.wall thickness is normal.uterus is normal in size {84x38x34}mm and normal in echotexture. no evidence of any myometrial mass or sol.Endometrium is thick,echogenic 11.3mm.Right overy is normal.left overy shows an oval cystic lesion 32x29mm with reticular internal echoes-hemorrhagic cyst .no adeneral pathology is seen. no free fluid is seen in pelvis.

Hello,
The sonogram findings suggest excess estrogen influence on the endometrium as it is thick. If she has a missed period, there exists a possibility of pregnancy with this finding as a gestation sac may be later visualized. The cyst in the ovary usually is harmless based on the size and can be followed through further sonograms as it is expected to resolve spontaneously. If it happens to cause symptoms, it may need surgical removal. An endometrioma is another possibility. Please correlate clinically with a specialist. Hope this helps.
