Can An Insulin Dependent Diabetic Patient Use Neosporin To Heal A Cut?

My husband is diabetic. He gave himself an insulin shot with 70/30. When we were talking in the kitchen I backed up and my arm was pricked with the needle. It did bleed just a little bit I washed out with hibiclens, put alcohol afterwards then neosporin. Should I be worried?

Hello,

You don’t need to worry. The insulin needle is a small need and it unlikely to contain blood because it is used subcutaneous.
In my opinion the first aid which you have taken is sufficient.
