Can Acute Leg Pain, Swelling And Numbness Due To Arthritis Be Treated?

i have had left leg pain for last 3 months. my doctor diagnosed me with arthritis and here within last month i have had sharp stabbing pain go down my leg. Goes down to my feet. sometimes when i am on my leg awhile it will swell. Also the pain radiates into my knee cap sometimes my leg goes numb when i drive. some nights i cry in bed cause i cant take the pain aymore.What else can i do. Please help. Thank You Heather

Hi,

In my opinion you should undergo
X-Ray of lumbosacral spine AP and lateral views.
Once the diagnosis of arthritis is confirmed you may require
NSAIDS
Physical therapy.
