my partner has diabetic type 2 and not taking is insulin correctly and not at all. his blood sugar level was 457 yesterday and he has been having abdominal pains and legs cramp , swollen feet but want go back to the doctor for his check. he just started back taken his insulin correctly yday and today it was 241, what is his worst case of being sick again n back in the hospital he also has high blood pressure, sleep adnea and a bleeding behind his retina and obesity
Your partner have all the complications of diabetes. Kidney damage like proteinuria is usually associated with diabetic eye disease which may be the reason for swollen legs. Convince him the need of regular medications and consult a doctor who will do an HbA1C, Urine albumin, renal function and then optimise his medications.
