Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You may change to a different contraception pill but the first week you do so you are not protected so if you are sexually active you will need to use condoms as well to prevent pregnancy. It might be advisable to start on dose 1 otherwise you will not know on where to start. Even though you are taking the pill still bleeding can happen so be prepared that still you have chance of bleeding even you take the other pill.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,
Antoneta Zotaj, MD
