Occasionally due to early smoking. More likely due to familial disorders causing very high cholesterol and birth defects in coronary arteries. Very rarely following Kawasaki's disease.

My husband survived the widow maker three years ago (age 49). He is very high strung, has anxiety and chest pain and is beginning to eat poorly. His pressure is up and cholesterol up by about 30 pts. He cannot seem to control his temper. I am afraid he is setting himself up for another heart attack. I guess my question is do you think there is any correlation to the heart attack and the personality change?
