Since your is brother is young and he has CKD with creatinine of 5 it will be a better option to go for Transplant. The cost in all major cities in India will be high and similar so you have to decide between private and public hospital where it will be less but you will not get personalised service in public hospitals. As for the donors It is important by laws of our country that the donor should be from the family or from the relatives so you need to search in you family and relatives. The post surgery part will be important as there can be chance of rejection;so if your brothers body tolerates the transplant and the kidney is accepted by his body then he will be able to lead a normal life.
