my sister just had an ultrasound and found her uterus to be thickend I just finished chemo 4 months ago for stage 3 ovarian cancer and have tested positive for braca 2 gene my sister has not been tested yet could she have cancer? email address YYYY@YYYY

Hello dear. You carry a BRCA2 mutation and your sister is very much likely to suffer from BRCA related cancers. She needs to undergo further evaluation and testing for screening by an oncologist. Visit soon.

dear madam.
BRCA gene is related to breast and ovarian cancer.
she has thickened uterus, but ovaries?? there may be other causes for it. so she needs further workup for proper diagnosis of disease.
