Can A Mole Be Removed From The Earlobe?

I have a mole on my left earlobe where fellas have there ears pierced. It is nearly in the exact spot where you d get the piercing. There is room to pierce around it just about but the worry is that the earring may irritate the mole causing abnormalities in the future. Can I get it removed? Can a mole be removed from the earlobe? I ve wanted my ears done since I was a kid but this has always got in the way. I m desperate to finally get them pierced. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I can understand your concern for wearing ear rings. Your problem is a mole, which is at the site where to pierce for ear ring. Your worry is right. Irritation to mole might lead to malignancy. So, I would recommend for removal of mole. You consult dermatologist. After thorough examination, he might remove it under local anasthesia by electrocautery or surgical excision. And after complete healing you may go for procedure of ear piercing. Then you may have ear ring.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
