Can A Lump Leaking Blood And Clear Liquid Be Caused By HPV?

I have a large, flesh colored lump on the upper left side of my labia majora. it has a red center and only leaks blood and clear liquid. This is the second time this month that it has occured. It isn't too painful, but irritating. I have HPV(not wart strain), but no other STD's. I do shave also.

Hi there.
Thanks for writing in to HCM.
If your history is accurate, then the condition you describe appears to be a pseudofolliculitis or an 'ingrown hair issue related to shaving the area possibly against the grain. Another possibility is an infected cyst.
While HPV does cause warts (& I don't quite understand what you allude to by 'non-wart' strain), this particular lesion does not appear to be a wart unless secondarily infected. It would be great if you could upload a photo of the area.
Cheers & wish you a speedy recovery with a course of antibiotics prescribed by your local dermatologist/venereologist. Do remember to practice safe sex.
