Can A Heart Attack Occur Despite Normal BP And Uric Acid Levels?

My aunt sufferred with heart attack this friday. Went to near by hospital, doctor said her heart pumping is just 20% functioning and cannot treat unless the heart working is more than 30%. Took her to a specialist and he said same thing and kept under ccu. He says we will see until this monday and give you answer. Took 3 opinions from 3 specialitist and all have surrendered. But to my surprise my aunt has normal bp, uric acid and thyroid. She is able to speak, eat little but yes very weak. Can anyone suggest where its going and dont we have any surgery or heart pumping activity at this stage and what should i do now.

Respected user, hi
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query thoroughly.
As per the information you have provided, you aunt is suffering from heart failure at present. Heart failure occurs when the heart muscle is weakened and cannot pump enough blood to meet the body's needs for blood and oxygen. The weakened heart pump enough blood which results in fatigue and shortness of breath which limits everyday activities like walking or climbing stairs. Heart failure is more likely to happen as we age, but anyone can develop heart failure. Most common causes for heart failure are coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, and previous heart attack. Damage to heart can’t be reversed but the symptoms can be improved with proper management plan including lifestyle modifications, medications and devices and surgical procedures. I would suggest you to admit her under critical care unit with cardiology facility. She requires intensive monitoring and many medications in combinations. Regardless of your treatment, you need to follow all of your doctor's recommendations and make the necessary changes in diet, exercise and lifestyle to give you the highest possible quality of life.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
