Can A Head Injury Cause Weakness On Right Side Of The Body?
I have weakness on my right side from the waist down my leg. I also have limphodema in both legs. I had a head injury last sept on the right side of my forhead and the gash went to my skull. It took 8 internal stitches and 22 external stitches. My doctor did mri s twice to check for build of blood and other complications. I did have blood behind my right eye. That went away in time. Eye doctor oked me. I have noticed I am getting weak on the right side so I requested for therapy to build myself back up. My limphodema can cause this if I don t keep up with it and I was down for a while with the head injury. Can a head injury on the right side cause weakness on the right side of your body?
some of your explanation are imaginary and not practical head injury can cause right side hemiplegia if left side of brain is effected. blood behind right eye can be conjuctival hematoma and it is due to developmental continuity. it is self limiting and cold compression can be apply ed. take rest and watch for progress of recovery in hemiplegia.consult surgeon to examine lymphoderma for examination and advise on treatment.
