Hi. I am 26 years female . I have been doing follicular study since 4 months. My follicles rupture when they attain 16-17 mm size. I have been staying together with my husband during the time of ovulation. Yet I have failed to concieve. How many days should we try after ovulation. What is the cause of the premature rupture of my follicles. Is it the cause of the failed pregnancy. Pliz advice.
Hi, I have gone through your question. Follicle size at 16-17 mm at the time of rupture is normal, it is not premature. The chances of conception in one natural cycle is 20%, and the couple is said to be having infertility when they fail to conceive naturally after one year of unprotected intercourse. Therefore, I suggest you to not to worry as you have tried for 4 months only. You should try to conceive from 5 days prior to ovulation to 1-2 days after, as this is the period of maximum fertility. Hope this answers your question. Wishing you good health.
